VETUS Polyester stern tube, length 500mm. (Includes cutless bearing, diameter 30mm). (BG30/0500)

Description

The G.R.P. tube BG30/0500 is suitable for 30 mm diameter shafts. A propeller nut with integrated zinc anode comes as standard with the propeller shafts. GRP (polyester) stern tube suitable for a water-lubricated propeller shaft shaft tube, which is provided with a cutless bearing, must be bonded directly into the hull.

There are two options for water lubrication of the shaft assembly:
1. By means of aG?8”water scoop with ball valve, hose pillar, 1m of water hose and hose clamps (optional kit: WCAPS).

2. By tapping a small amount of water from the main engine’s raw water-cooling circuit.

For the second option, we offer the ZWBKIT. With this kit you have all you need to water lubricate your shaft assembly by using water from the main engine’s raw water cooling circuit.
The kit consists of a T-piece(18-10-18mm), 3m of 10mm diameter hose (DWHOSE10A) and four hose clamps.
