Sierra Marine drain plug 18-2244 features a 3/8″-16 thread and is supplied with the 18-2945 gasket. It will replace the following plugs:
– Mercury 10-79953A2, 10-79953Q2, 10-79953Q04 & 10-79953K04
– Mallory 9-72650
The drain plug / vent screw is suitable for #1/R/MR/Alpha/Alpha I Gen II upper and lower units including the following engines:

– 35hp & 40hp 2-cylinder
