Description
Foam Pipe Cleaning Pig For British Standard Pipe
Based around a British Standard Pipe Nominal Bore sizes, but please do check the measurements are suitable for your specific pipe inside diameter.
Graphskill foam pigs were developed to be used when cleaning newly fabricated pipelines of debris prior to the pipelines being commissioned. Though they do of course have a variety of uses
cleaning pipes of old product ready for new product
to dry pipes after washing
to plug drilling equipment
retaining inert gas for welding operations
scrubbing and cleaning old pipes reducing the need for complete replacement
and can be used as bungs to block dirt whilst pipes aren’t in use.
The pigs can be pulled through a pipeline with a fishtape attached to their “Towing eye” to clear the line of welding and fabrication debris prior to commissioning.

Typical Physical Properties
Physical properties are measured using test methods described in BS EN ISO 845:1995. (Determination of Density), BS EN ISO 2439 (Determination of Hardness), BS EN ISO1798 (Determination of Tensile Strength and Elongation) and BS EN ISO1856 (Determination of compression).
| Nominal Piece Density Range | 23-25 kg/m3 |
| Nominal Hardness (40%) Strength | 115-150N |
| Nominal Tensile Strength | Min 70 kPa |
| Nominal Elongation at Break | Min 140% |
| Nominal Compression Set | Av 18% |
