Epifanes Easy Flow – Impregnation oil for wood and rust protection

Epifanes Easy Flow is a versatile impregnation oil based on a unique combination of natural oils, mainly linseed oil and Chinese wood oil. Thanks to its fine molecular structure, the oil penetrates deeply into the substrate, expels moisture and air, and saturates the pores for long-lasting protection.

Three areas of use in one:

• Wood impregnation: Saturates the wood fibers and prevents rotting and peeling. Can be used both above and below the waterline.
• Effective rust protection: Stops ongoing rust by penetrating deep into the affected surface and preventing further corrosion.
• Paint additive: Add 5–10% to oil-based paints or varnishes to improve flowability (“float”) and extend open time when painting large surfaces.

Instructions & Properties:

• Finish: Dries to a slightly tacky surface that provides excellent adhesion for subsequent layers of paint or primer.
• Overcoating (Rust Protection): When treating rust protection, the surface can be overcoated with a one-component varnish or primer after 5–7 days.
• Pretreatment: The surface should be clean, dry and free of grease. Untreated wood is sanded to open the pores.
• Note: On oily wood such as fresh teak, the oil should only be used if the wood has become dry and brittle over time.

Important: Contains linseed oil. Used rags and paper should be placed in water immediately after use to prevent spontaneous combustion.
